Mark Brennan
Mark Brennan is a Canadian wilderness painter who travels extensively to Canada's many National Parks and wilderness areas where he finds endless visual and spiritual inspiration to paint.
For Mark nothing beats painting on location "I get to feel the cold, the heat, the insects and sometimes struggle to understand and convey into my art what nature has to offer a blank canvas."
Early introduction towards art training was during time spent at
sea. As a royal navy ships photograper, Mark spent many hours recording daily events. This helped lay the technical ground work for progression into fine art.
He has been painting for 20 years. His work brings us back in touch with the Canadian landscape that sustains and defines us.
