An exhibition of works by Island artist Heather Millar
"Most recently upon moving to PEI and finally settling down in the country, I’ve been intrigued by the nature and wildlife within our space. Tiny footprints on a snowy morning, birdsong at dusk, the cry of a fox in the night, the daily pilgrimage of our Island crows to their roost, it gives me a sense of humility and belonging. It’s with these emotions that I strive to pay homage to the life around us. “Coming Home To Roost” is a show that parallels my thoughts and feelings about becoming an Islander, the sense of putting down roots and feeling at peace with everything surrounding me."...Heather Millar
