Wendy Manning
Wendy Manning has Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University and a certificate of education from the University of Manitoba. She has taught art in Manitoba, Nigeria, Ontario and New Brunswick and is now teaching at middle school in St. John.
She works mainly in oil pastels and likes to paint on site although she works from photographs as well.
Her work hangs in private collections in North America and Europe. She is a member of the Oil Pastel Society and the Plein air painters of the Bay of Fundy.
Her works are evocative and capture the soft light of Maritime Canada.
