Doreen Foster
Doreen Foster graduated from Central Technical School, Art Department, Toronto in 1969. Since that time she has participated in solo and group shows across Canada. In 1969 she had her first solo exhibition "Wings and a Rabbit" at the The Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. In 1974 her work was part of a exhibiton that travelled to Centre Culturel Canadien in Paris, France, Canada House London, England, Art Gallery of Ontario and the Confederation Centre of the Arts, Charlottetown.
Her work has won many awards and prizes, among them First prize of the Internet Exhibition (2003)
She and her husband have lived on Prince Edward Island since 1990 in Victoria-by-the Sea.
