Yvon Belanger
Yvon Belanger is a native of the Lower Saint-Lawrence Region, in the province of Quebec. He studied Arts throughout his Classical Studies and experimented in several artistic mediums during those years.
Painting in oils, his work is best described as figurative, but in an original manner, his style borrows from the expressionists.
The main components of his creativity stem from light and movement, two elements found easily in his home on Les Iles de la Madeleine, where the sharp transpanrency of the air and richness of the colours displayed by the landscape and the houses, blend superbly with the movement imposed by the ever present wind.
